Hi,
I recommend putting buttons on the toolbars, that way you can see them
anywhere in your files, not just in certain areas of the active sheet. If
that is the case you can copy button pictures from any button in any Microsft
App and paste it your Excel custom button. You can also design your own
button pictures by choosing View, Toolbars, Customize, and then
right-clicking the button and choosing Edit button image. Further there are
free (not free) button gallaries available on the internet.
If you are putting buttons in the spreadsheet, keep in mind you can use any
AutoShape to launch a macro and you can change there looks many ways. You
cah make them 3-D, add shadows, add text, change their color and even add any
picture from the internet.
With Form buttons you are rather limited.
With Control Toolbox buttons you can add a picture throught he Picture
property as well as other lesser changes.
