There is so much spyware and tracking software on the
net, maintenance is a daily chore anymore. This has
become more of a reality reading the complaints about
this program. I have this program running on three
systems; with no problems. The internet loss is more than
likely a "winsock" highjack. Any removal of such a hold
on your system will take out your protocol. If you have
windows socket 2 problems (xp) go this link
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811259 . I also recommend
running Spybot search and destroy http://www.safer-
networking.org/en/index.html The combination spyware I
use is Spywareblaster, Ad-Aware, Spybot search and
destroy and the Microsoft Beta 1 you can find the others
on your search engines. If you want to see how vulnerable
your open ports are go to this site
https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 hope this helps; I'm
not an expert but over the years I've learned to keep my
systems clean with a few safeguards.
