Found 4 nice updates or new programs on www.snapfiles.com

*Cam2PC is a nice photograph wrangling program, the best feature of which is
excellent, fast full-screen picture viewing. It's a bit fat, but works very
slick.

*Splitting is a file splitter that runs from the SendTo menu. Tiny size,
works great, 1 File Wonder.

*WinPatrol is a nice spyware-trojan watcher that warns you when a program is
added to registry start section, schedule, etc. It's a 1 File Wonder.

ZipGenius and Explorer XP have new releases and are worth a look as well.

Bob:
Both WinPatrol and Splitter install, normally I think of "1 File Wonder"
as an executable.

Yea, You're right Mike. What I do is cheat a little. I install, copy the EXE
file to my 1 File Wonders folder, then uninstall. I tested both, and they
work great with just the EXE file. I like it when the developer gives you a
choice of a ZIP file and an installer.

shows some promise, but it currently doesn't handle large collections
of images very well.

now *this one rocks! thanks!

Yes, I've done that. Interesting that Winpatrol, latest version, with
considerable registry entries, uninstall, run the exe and it *still*
works fine. I will certainly try it.

I guess the only gotcha is junk in the registry that the ininstall may
not have cleaned out.

Just when my ant farm started showing a profit,
an ant bank foreclosed on it.

"While walking on a sidewalk, I came across a bunch of dead ants.
Mysteriously, the bodies of dead ants were carefully laid out in the shape
of a SHOE!. It shows that either ants have advanced burial rituals, or a
great sense of humor. Either way, I think this will prove to science they
are very smart".
