A company called Uniblue are promoting one of their products this weekend. Its called Speed up my pc 2010.
I installed it earlier and have to say in a couple of hours things seem faster. It appears to be opening programs faster and browsers really quick, although i cant see any difference with chrome yet.
Anyway it can be got here but you have to set up a free account.

here's some info
Keeping a PC running at its peak performance can seem a time-consuming and complicated process. There are endless junk files to clean up, services to be tweaked, startup programs to eliminate, and hundreds of Windows settings to optimise: it's hard to know where to begin. Unless, that is, you get a little expert help from SpeedUpMyPC 2010.
Launch the program, click Start Scan, and it'll crawl over your PC and its settings, looking for speed-related problems and recommending potential fixes. We tried SpeedUpMyPC 2010 on a test PC and found it delivered all kinds of advice, from the obvious (clear the Recycle Bin, delete temporary files), to the intelligent (disable 6 unnecessary startup processes and 8 surplus services), and the seriously geeky (speed up your browsing by increasing your DNS Cache Size).
