Anyone care to explain the 999 error messages for most websites after a
lousy Windows update?
What crap.
Time to dump this crap for Ubuntu.

Just curious, can you access the sites with Firefox, Opera or Chrome?

If you have any questions about Ubuntu, email me ;-)

Quit winning about it and just go do it. Delete all your windows and get
Ubuntu...dare you!

You couldn't answer a question on Ubuntu if your life depended on it. How
do I know this? You are afraid to answer questions in the Ubuntu forums
because you don't know SHIT! HA HA HA HA.

You have to troll here because you are a douche bag.

Is there a prize?

Alias

Sure. The prize is that you can waste all your time. You can stare at the
screen saying, "What the **** did I do to my computer". Then you can wipe
that crappy Ubuntu off your PC and install Windows, a real Operating System
to get real work done.

Just FYI.

Frankly I am getting sick of Ubuntu also.

Use self control and don't read my posts.
As much as I criticized Windows, this is not an Ubuntu Newsgroup.

So what?
Matter if fact, even marketing-wise "Ubuntu" brandname implies cheap,
hobbyist product.

You obviously know nothing about Ubuntu.
But don't get me wrong, I am focusing on product itself - not on its
name, and I repeat this is a WINDOWS Newsgroup.

And alternatives to Vista are ON TOPIC.
Go advertise Ubuntu to hobbyists.
Why can't Microsoft ban his IP address?

New to Usenet?

No intention of even trying. I don't know your real identity.
We know you're a nobody.

"WE" don't know anything. Aren't you speaking for yourself and NOT everyone
else?

You are a NOBODY that is why you claim to get $14k, you claim to have two
companies, etc..... You are probably and old unemployed man living off of
welfare or the money from your poor unsuspecting wife.

Bill Gates is a geek. Ballmer is a buffoon, I agree, and not a geek, but
if he gets laid, he has to pay for it.

Dude - If we are married, sex is never FREE!

This is ridiculous.
I design computer systems for a living and have wasted two full days trying
to get a working system back after IE8 and other MS updates.
Web access does not work now in IE, even going backwards.

Why don't I have any of these problems at all?
IE8 downloaded and installed flawlessly and so did all other updates
directly from the site, without silencing any programs.
This is Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, 32bit.

Harry.
