nic sometimes disable in the device manager

I have the windows 2000 machine.it's working fine,but
sometimes my network interface card automatically disable
in device manager.I am not know what's the problem.Anybody
have any idea please reply to me.

oddly enough I had this happen acouple of times last month, a week
before the PSU on my PC failed.

Since replacing the PSU its not happened since, so perhaps you PSU is
failing?
