NIC Config Gots Lost

When I disable & enable my lan card it works fine for 30 secs & immi after
that it losts its ip address & other confis...

Event log says the following

Description:
The system detected that network adapter Realtek RTL8139(A) PCI Fast
Ethernet Adapter #3 was disconnected from the network, and the adapter's
network configuration has been released. If the network adapter was not
disconnected, this may indicate that it has malfunctioned. Please contact
your vendor for updated drivers.
 
Event Log also says
" The Routing and Remote Access service depends on the NetBIOSGroup group and no member of this group started. "

" SAM failed to start the TCP/IP or SPX/IPX listening thread "

Event Source: NetBT
Initialization failed because the transport refused to open initial Addresses.
 
P.S. : When I try to enable teh NIC it gets enabled for couple of seconds & during that time it is pingable but immi after that it beocmes non pingable & says connection failed in the NIC enabling box.


Event Log also says
" The Routing and Remote Access service depends on the NetBIOSGroup group and no member of this group started. "

" SAM failed to start the TCP/IP or SPX/IPX listening thread "

Event Source: NetBT
Initialization failed because the transport refused to open initial Addresses.
 
Have you tried a new network card, new cable, or different jack on your
networking device?

I have tried 2 different NIC's in2 diff slots.

Even if the canble is un plugged & the cards ip address is 192.168.0.1 it
will respond to self ping.

If responds for approx 30 secs after the card is activated & then the error
comes saying connection failed...

How is the computer connected to the network? Switch, router, or ???

Have you checked for spyware, adware or viruses?
