Anyone out there ever ran into a situation where the NIC
Card stops receiving n/w traffic for no apparent reason -
nothing was done to the PC so I am not sure what caused
it. I am at my wits ends with regard to why 3 of our PC's
decided over the week-end that they would only send and
not receive n/w data. Below is a list of the actions I
have performed any help would be appreciated!
1)Verified all physical network connections were "green"
2)Verify IP address and NIC properties
3)Un-install and re-install the NIC card
4)Using the netstat -ano command it appears the Network
services are not listening but nothing I have done (to
that end) has started that service (i.e. net start....)
5)Netsh to reset the IP protocal stack
Note: it appears the Network services are not
listening but nothing I have done (to that end) has
started that service (i.e. net start....)
6)Scanned entire drive for viruses
