NIC card issue

I am trying to install Windows 2003 on a PC and everytime I do it the Network card is not able to see the default gateway.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the NIC. I have been running Windows 2000 Advance Server and the Card worked fine. I had internet access and everything.

Windows 2003 picks up the network card and installs it with no problem but no matter what I do it wouldn't see the default gateway.
I have assigned DHCP and it wouldn't pick an IP address. I assign it a static IP and it still wouldn't see the gate way.

Has anyone had this problem and do you know what the solution is?

I am trying to install this on a Dell Poweredge 240

Thank
Brandon

.
Does device manager view the card as working properly?
If so, it needs the lastest driver. Try an XP driver if
they don't have the 2003 driver yet.
