I have tried everything to get this to work!!! Windows Vista 32bit RC1 works
fine and installed. My monitor samsung 710n is connected to my PCI-E nvidia
7600gt and
windows vista shows up fine. i don't upgrade the video driver because my
display properties- There
was no video card- everything was blank. I clicked properties and it
said"vgaSave". I went into Device Manager to see what was wrong- Displays
was not a catagory but under system devices, there were four items that said
"nForce4 PCI-Express Root Port", each with a yellow ! next to it. I have
upgrade nforce4 driver with the beta version
but it's not simple!! After much shots the yellow ! disappear but i don't
remove "vgasave".
The mobo is upgrade the last bios. Thanks.

system specs:
mb epox 9npa+ultra (nforce4 ultra)
athlon64 3800+
2Gb super*talent
maxtor diamondmax10 - 160gb sataII
geforce 7600gt pcie

Check and see what type your computer is under device manager/computer ...
with my asus nforce4 it has to say "acpi-x86 based pc" else I get the bang
marks with express root and no vid card.

thanks peter

I remove the 7600gt pcie board and installing a old matrox millennium pci.
With the matrox board the properties are matrox vga card and the "update
driver" box now is upgredable.Uppear too the category "monitor" into the
device manager. But if I remove matrox and reinstall the geforce card all
return in the old situation. i think that RC1 is incompatible with nforce4
pciexpress bus epox mb.

I don't know....
