NForce2 (A7N8X-X) and NT4

Okay, I got the LAN to work (an external DLink did not work, but the builtin
LAN does), but still the CDROM is not detected.

Desparately hoping for a tip... (please not to change the OS... :))

But your OS is not supported by the nForce drivers... You're fighting a
losing battle.

The nForce IDE has always worked nicely with the MS IDE Drivers in Win2K,
but NT4 is just very old. I take it you have the last SP installed? When
was that released?
