OK. Copy the Dialog folder somewhere else for yourself, leaving the
original for the other users. Use a folder lock app to keep it secure. I
don't think you lose any functionality at all by copying Dialog all over
the place.
Same with Free Agent and Pimmy, but if you are happy with Dialog then
stick with it.
LockFolder is nice and I assume it works in 2000

It then changed its name to FolderAccess the freeware build of which is
limited to protecting 4 folders
