newspaper - detail jumping to 2nd column

I have a subreport in newspaper format with teacher name, address and phone
numbers. It worked fine since the query had only one line per teacher.

I now added the teaching days for each teacher and after it prints the first
teaching day in the first column, it jumps to the second column to print the
next teaching day. I tried...

1)putting the name in the page header and the teaching days in the
detail section, and
2)grouping by teacher name and putting the name of a teacher in the
group header and the teaching
days in the detail.

I increased the column height but it doesn't help.

Any suggestions?

I just tried it again with the name in the page header (maybe I didn't save a
change) and now I just have the detail of the days without the name.

I checked your site for page header and subreports (I kept checking for
newspaper) and solved the problem of the page header, but I still have not
found a solution to having all the details in the one column. It still
prints one line of detail and then jumps to the next column.

Please ignore this message. I am just not going to use the newspaper column.
