Looks like the doing work on the web interface to the groups. You can
connect to the groups using Outlook Express or other newsreader application
as all of them currently seem to be accessible that way. Here is a link
that will open in your default newsreader software to this newsgroup:

Well folks, I tried going the OE route and my ISP { Cox
broadband} , so far as I can figure, requires your
correct email address to be published with every NG post.
That,at least for me is unacceptable. I can only imagine
the deluge of spam and viruses/Worms/Trojan Horses etc.
being sent to me just by writing a post to a NG using OE.

If anyone knows a way for me to post using OE and not
leave myself open to all the unacceptable nasties I
mentioned ,please let me know. Until then I'll be using a
web based browser , thank you very much. And to ANYONE
who says using OE to post is far, far, far superior, why
do'nt we compare the spam & email viruses we each have
received??? I'd win,hands down,because I've never
received even one, ever. End of Argument. If MS decides
not to continue letting those with web based browsers
read and post , well, guess I wont be posting and
certainly not with OE.

Guess I did'nt make myself clear. I have no problem
finding this NG by using OE. The problem is my ISP,so far
as I am able to find out , does'nt have the option for me
to post without announcing my real OE address in the post.
This I will not do,for the reasons given in my previous
post. I do not care if OE is a better way to use NG,not
if it means I get spammed out of existence and recieve
email viruses by the boxcar, thank you very much.
It is'nt your fault. It is'nt my fault. It's my ISP, Cox
Cable.
Anyway , thanks for your reply.

GBP--Sorry,did'nt scroll down far enough the first time
to see you had included the individual--whatever.
Problem is,the first thing out of the box they want my
email address. Sorry, but that is none of their business.
Sure, they can do things however they like, but that does
not mean I have to follow them over the cliff. They could
require a sign in , a numbering system, or a dozen other
ways to identify any of their subscribers, without ever
knowing the subscribers identity. I do not know this
company or anything about them and being in Germany they
are beyond US jurisdiction. I do not trust blindly.
They could be building a contact list to sell to spammers
for all I know. No I'm not paranoid ! I've been around
the world and know that every country has companies and
individuals that delight in scamming anyone and everyone.
We even have one or two in the good old USA . Hell, even
some Governments scam , would you beleive that. I could
go on forever, but this is/has turned into a rant.
Lets just say that they have no reason for asking for my
email address, or for my ex-wifes cousin-twice
removed, brother inlaws zip code. Gotta go now,Have a rant
to get on with elsewhere.

this machine or OE enabled not going to(.) this is one of
the few newsgroups I can still access and lets see if this
