newsgroups in vista mail

I am using vista mail only for viewing newsgroups( for mail I use Outlook
2007 ). But the problem is that going from one to another newsgroup is
extremely slow ( about 10 seconds)...same for leaving vista mail...I applied
all fixes suggested before in this newsgroup but nothing helps...I have no
Spybot or any of this kind of program installed...How to solve this problem?

Are you talking about newsgroups with heavy message traffic/volume?

I've notice that WM struggles with some very large groups.

It may be worth looking at the retention settings.

Tools > Options > Advanced > Maintenance >
Purge newsgroup messages / Delete news messages nnn days after etc.
