Since posting comments on this group.

Have swamped with virus filled e-mails

Be wary
 
Do not use a REAL email address or domain names when posting to these News
Groups. Spammers and Hackers use the groups to harvest email addresses. If
you check, others add false info to their address with instructions to edit
before sending. Such as mine:
 
Have the same problem.
Is there a way to unpost a posted message ?
(In a futile attempt to end this ordeal )

Even if you could it would be to late. Once your address is harvested the only
thing you can do is get rid of that address.

It's that way in *all* NG's
Use a bogus address in the identity setup.
