If there are for example 7000 messages in a newsgroup, how do I get to see
all of those. It seems to only let me download at the most 1000 headers at a
time. Well once I have scanned through those, how do I get to look at the
other 6000?

Thanks.

If you're using Outlook Express, click on Tools then "Get next xxx headers"
(xxx is the number of messages you have specified in Tools|Options|Read).

I have that set at 1000, but what about since I am just starting out the
other 6000 messages it says are out there? How do I get them once I have the
first 1000?

Untick the box, you'll get them all.

You may have to unsubscribe then resubscribe to get prior messages after synching.

Just like I said before: Click on Tools then "Get next 1000 headers." This
will download the next 1000 headers. In order to get all 6000 of the
remaining messages, you will have to perform this little task six times.
