I've used the newsgroup reader that came with Outlook
2000 but for some reason I can no longer get to it from
within outlook. There used to be a "Newsgroup" option
under the Go To > menu. But it isn't there anymore. Is
there a way to get back the default menu items.

Thanks in advance.

Don't know why the News button is missing.

Outlook does NOT do newsgroups; it has no NNTP (network news transfer
protocol). It calls Outlook Express and opens that application to
handle newsgroups, or whatever application you selected under IE's
Tools -> Internet Options -> Programs (and selecting Outlook just
results in a superfluous call to Outlook which then opens Outlook
Express, anyway).
