Hi,
In windows mail I have Microsoft newsgroup in my Microsoft Communities. I
have someting like 1500 download messages. How do I get rid of about 1400
of these?????

Say you want to get rid of the earliest 1400..

Click on "sent" to sort them into time and date order.

Scroll to the top of the list of posts.

Click on earliest post to highlight it.

Scroll down to the last post you want rid of.

Hold down shift key and click last post
which should highlight all posts... first to last.

Right click on highlighted posts.
Select "mask as read"

Change view to "hide read messages"
