Newsgroup image preview

When downloading images from newsgroups, sooner or later(it varies a lot),
the image preview stops working, and the downloaded image appears as an empty
box with an x in one corner. The only thing I've found to resolve the problem
is to re-boot, but the problem comes back again at some later point

Which antivirus are you running?

MacAfee. One other thing I have yet to establish is whether it is affecting
Yenc, non-yenc or both. I'm using Brawnylads official yenc decoder.

Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee
or Norton security programs. Those will need to be
uninstalled, not just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
