News support in Outlook

As far as stupid questions go this one is probably pretty good:

Is it possible to access Usenet using Outlook (not Outlook Express) - for
example using a plugin?

there are add-ins but none of them (in my experience - and I've tried most
of the mainstream ones) come up to a proper news reader - even Outlook
Express in Outlook News reader mode....
