news gr. problem

When I click on a news group that I have subscribed to a box comes up saying
that Microsoft mail cannot switch to ( news group name ) on ( server namer )
.. It gives an error of 480 and a code of 800ccca4.

This has worked fine since I installed Vista and I have made no changes.
Any help?

That's a user id/password error for the server.

Make sure you are using the correct userid and password
for server news.xxxx.com or whatever it is called.

It seems this mornings updates added a windows live id tab to my news group
settings. I deactivated this and all is fine.
