news client with reply alert features

hi,
Looking for Usenet client that has an alert feature for replies to my newsgroup posts or any thread I select
Anyone know of a app that will do this ??
freeware or shareware ??

tried xnews it does not give popup alerts
to replies to my posts or any other post
is if does the procedure to do so is not clear

You did not ASK for pop-up alerts. Both 40tude and Xnews do
what you ASKED for; they alert you to replies to your message
and highlight the thread and message when you open the group.

Ask better questions, and you'll get better answers.

It does not give popup alerts, but it will colour the messages in bright
yellow. It's got a bit of a learing curve, but it's got some great
features, the best of which is almost never having to use a mouse.
