Address Flipper (about 600kb)
A Cardware application to store all your friend's addresses in.
Includes 2 name fields for all those Internet friends that you
know rather by alias-name than by RealLife name :)

Why did I write this thing? Well, I needed a small and
convenient app to store my addresses in, just in case something
happens to my paper-based address book. Since a lot of available
applications out there are either too large to install just for
a few addresses, or didn't give me the functions that I wanted
(like having *two* name fields, one for the alias), I sat down
and programmed this little gem.

It is Card/Donationware, so please, if you use this application
actively, send me a postcard of your HomeTown! The address to
send this to is included in the program as of version 1.1, look
in the About or Info page, button Cardware!

Esp. now that I've switched to Thunderbird from Outlook, I'm seriously
looking for an easy type of program like this one but that has one
extra feature that I saw once a long, long time ago in a 16bit program
- press a button and it dumps the chosen email address(es) to an open
program on the the screen, i.e., the TO box in an email client!

What I like about this idea is that hopefully such a program in 32bit
format is small and since it's not tied into an email client, there'd
be less likelihood of spreading viruses that latch onto an address
book and replicate.

Also, hopefully there's such a thing in a no-install type of format
that would be small so it'd easily fit on a floppy disk and that one
could take along anywhere.

Anyway, anyone seen any such Boomer-sized app? I've been pleasantly
surprised before, so never know. I've tried many address books apps
in the last 2 years, which I've forgotten allthe names for, but
nothing has come close. Still, I don't give up hope <g>.
