Newly added printer will not stay as default

I added a new printer and driver (HPF380) and changed it to the default
printer.

Every time I turn the computer off or sign out, the default printer changes
back to the old one. I have XP home and am doing it under the adminstrator
sign in. We are using three seperate users on the one computer, each with a
seperate sign-in name. It happens to all three. I really do not want to
deleat the old print driver as we might plug it back it and use it.

Help.
 
You'd have to get the manufacturer of the old printer to make that change,
it's in the drivers that you got from them.
