Newest IE

Does anyone know hoe I can check to see what version of
IE I am running and if I am running an old version how I
can download the most recent.

I am having problems with my IE only opening one webpage
at a time from my current icon. If I use the
File>>Open>>New Window it works fine but not if I use my
icon.

I am thinking maybe I don't have the most up to date
version?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In IE click Help | About.
 
while your IE browser is open, point & click on HELP; in
the drop down menu click on About Internet Explorer... and
there's your answer, or at least it should display.
