Seems like I can barely shop with these guys anymore. Their website is
so difficult to reach and times out so often I can't even search for a
product or place an order.

Worked just fine here in Iowa using Firefox 3.0.11 and after upgrading
Firefox to 3.5.

If this is the only site you are having problem with you might want to do a
couple of tracert commands of www.newegg.com and see if there is a common
point where the tracert fails or consistently shows bad response times. It
is possible that you have a link somewhere between you and them that is
acting up. Here is a copy of one I just ran from my computer.

C:\>tracert www.newegg.com

Trace complete.

In my case my first link is my local router which is configured not to
respond to ping or tracert requests. The rest are all looking pretty much
normal for this time of day.

What *exactly* are you doing?

I've never had a problem getting to their site.

What browser are your using?

Do you have cookies enabled?

Have you scanned your machine for malware?

I don't know what the problem is. I've had trouble reaching certain
sites over the past month or two. When I try tracert on
secure.newegg.com I only see an occasional bit of trouble, but if I
try to add something to the cart I almost always get a timeout.

Give me some money and I will be more than happy to investigate the
problem for you.

Try using a different DNS server. You can google/bing (oh god please tell
me I didn't just tell someone to bing something - shoot me now!) for them,
as well as where to enter the IP.
