Newbot

After scanning my system it said one of the spyware
programs was Newbot. I don't know what Newbot is so I
deleted it, now when my computer comes up it says it
cannot find Newbot. What is Newbot? I tried to go into
the registry and remove the entries for Newbot, that was
a mistake, nothing worked after that so I had to go back
to an earlier restore point. How do I get my computer to
stop saying it can't load Newbot? I don't have a backup
of my system, I'm running XP SP2.

Hi

Newdot is spyware.

- Send a spyware report to MS about this to make this
product better, menu tools

- Perhaps it`s possible to remove this in safe mode.But
I dont think so.

You can also do a scan in safe mode, on the Scan Page, choose Scan Options >
Full System Scan.
