Hi all! First, I'm not a programmer; I'm a technical writer, so please bear with me if I don't understand things right away. I took SQL and Visual Basic, but it was years ago, and I remember little. I've worked with Access before, but again, I'm rusty, and what I'm working on now is more complicated that what I've done before.
I'm trying to create an Access database (Access 2010) to enter and analyze survey data from paper surveys. I understand there should be multiple tables with primary and foreign keys. One issue I'm running into is that there are questions for which multiple answers may be selected. In addition, each respondent takes a pre- and post-survey at each of three trainings, so in total a respondent will have 6 surveys, with some duplication of questions in the pre- and post-surveys.
What's the best way to handle such data?
