Newbie - Relace video with video

I am quite new to video editing and Movie Maker. It's quite easy except for
the artisty and imagination part. But besides these problems I also have a
question.

I have a 15 second clip with audio. I want to keep the entire audio but
replace seconds 7 to 11 with other video. How do I do that?

Oh yes, I am using Movie Maker 2 on XP.

Alan,

1. Drag your video onto the Video track in the timeline.
2. Drag your video onto the Audio/Music track in the timeline.
3. Split the video and delete the portion you don't want.
4. Drag your replacement video clip onto the Video track, where you made the
deletion.
5. Adjust the length of the replacement clip so that the total length of the
entire video is EXACTLY the same as the original (reference the length of
the Audio/Music clip).
6. Select Audio Levels from the Tools menu.
7. Slide the slider all the way to the left.
8. Save your movie.
