Hi, im just curious if this is possible with win2kpro.
Can I bind multiple external IP addresses to one NIC? Im
looking to have 10 IPs incoming to 1 machine for
different applications and was just wondering if I can do
this.

Thanks in advance

Hi TS,

try using NAT and static map the internal ip address/port combination to the
external ip address/port.

Are you using any form of router/fw? Most decent routers provide very good
NATting.

Is there any software available to help setup NAT and
static mapping for win2k? Or any articles I could browse
that you know of?

This wont be in use with a router etc, just a win2k pro
box with multiple external IPs pointed at it.

Hello,

You can add multiple IP addresses to the network card.
Right click on My network places and choose properties.
Right click on your network card and choose properties.
Highlight TCP/IP and click properties.
Click on Advanced.
You can add as many IP addresses as you want under IP settings.

If you have a firewall between your computer and the rest of the
network or Internet, you will have to use NAT as GMK suggested.
