I'm using PP97 and have chosen a design(pulse.pot) based
on it having perfect contrast, color, etc. for my needs.

The slide show has animated pulses that fly accross the
screen upon slide opening. Is there any way to turn these
off yet keep all the other features of the design?

Thanks,
Joe

"View", "Master", "Slide Master". Select the two circles (one middle left
and the other just off the slide right) and delete them.

Bill,
Thanks for the info, however, following your instructions,
I don't see the 'circles' on the the slide master view.

Should I do something else to enable the circles?

Thanks,
Joe

A couple of things:

1. When you go into the Slide Master View, make sure you are looking on the
"Slide Master" slide and not the "Title Master" slide (if there is one).

2. The way the pulse worked (in 97) was a circle animated up from the bottom
then disappearred, then a circle flew from left to just off the slide to the
right. You might need to scroll over to see the object off the slide to the
right.

Holler back if that doesn't fix it.

Bill,
I still can't see any circles, nor any field that seems
associated with the animation. The slide master is the
view that I'm using.

If you want, I can send an email with a screenshot of my
master view.

thanks, again,
Joe

Bill,
Disregard my last post: my 'pulse' animation was three
rectangles that flew from left to right in an arc,
stopping on the right border of the slide.

I was able to click on one of the rectangles, select 'no
fill' and blend them into the background--not very
elegant, but, problem solved. (I didn't see any animation
commands after clicking on the rectangles, just color
options.)

Thanks for all your help!
Joe

If you want, send it directly to me (just one slide would be fine) and I
will take a look at it.

(e-mail address removed) (if you know what I mean)
