I'm using ClockGen to overclock the FSB on my Asus P4S533, P4 1.6A, 2x256
PC2100 system. When the FSB is increased, I've noticed that PCI & AGP bus
speed increases as well. I'm aware that there are some motherboards that can
lock the AGP & PCI bus frequency but I can't seem to find this function on
the P4S533 board.

Question 1 : What are the possible problems if the AGP & PCI buses are
clocked too fast?

Question 2 : When the FSB is increased, is IDE affected? Will it cause data
corruption on the hard disk?

TIA from a newbie overclocker.

Lockup. Video display problems. Overheating of the card. Random failures.
Total failure of some cards.

IDE is tied to the FSB. Some drives overclock, some don't. Can cause data
corruption, etc.. This has been discussed on the Overclocking sites, and in
this and other newsgroups in the past. groups.google.com is your freind
there.
TIA from a newbie overclocker.
