Hi. I have two computers (1 xp home, 1 xp prof) and I would like them
to share internet access and files. I connected both pc's to the
router and they are sharing the internet connection. Now how do I go
about sharing files? I tried the microsoft wizard but that did not
help. Can someone walk me through this on how to share files between
the 2 pc's.

Help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

1. In Connect To, right click on the network connections and make sure
that File and Printersharing is checked.
1A In Windows Explorer under Tools, Folder Options, View Uncheck Use
Simple File Sharing (Bottom of the List

2. On each folder containing files that you want to share ( you can do
this for the root folder for each drive to simplify things)right click
on the folder or drive and click on Sharing and security
3. It will be set to do not share this folder. Click Share this folder
4. The share name will be C$ (for the C drive). You Can't really share
this. Click on the New Share button and type in a share name not ending
with a $. You can use C
5. Select your new share name in the drop down box and click on the
Security tab. You will see Everyone listed with limited rights. For
simplification at home, click on Full Control

I think this should do it, try and if it doesn't work send me any error
messages to the email below.
