By Default Ended up as system administrator here - Where when the user logs
in - it creates a 'network drive' (use Q for example) - so when someone
logs into network it creates this 'Q' drive on their 'My Computer Folder'
which will in essance be their 'personal folder' on the network (and hence
backed up....)

I under stand I will have to have a common directory for all these network
folders, but question is - do I 1) have to create the folder on the network
manuall) or can winders creat it first time they 'log on' and how do I
automatically map this drive to their login'

Sound confusing - well, I am - Thanks

I am not exactly certain what you are talking about. You can redirect
specific user folders in Windows 2000. Take a look at these articles to get
started.

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;216463

The first deals with setting up a home directory. The second deals with
redirecting My Domuments.
