Hi all
I have a 2-host development network. Server running Win2k Server, client
running Win2k.
I want to use one (1) MMC 'Performance' tool to monitor SQL Server's 'User
Connections' (which only appears on the server) AND '.Net CLR Data' (which
only appears on the client)
But when I try to add a counter from either machine, neither lists the other
in the 'Select Counters From Computer' combo box.
So how do I set up the Performance tool to 'see' the remote machine?
**Warning: I have only passing knowledge of AD and server admin in general,
so a simple explanation will be of the most help! ;-)**
Given a choice, I would prefer to have the Performance tool run on the
client machine.
Any insight would be much appreciated! Thanks! =)
