Hi all,
I am a new user of Windows Movie Maker. Can anyone tell me, after I have
edited my movie etc can I save it in mpeg format? Or do you need to save it
as wmv and then convert it somehow?
How do you get a completed movie onto a DVD to play on a normal DVD player?
Are there any good websites to get help with Movie Maker?
What would be the max length of a movie to make using Movie Maker?

Yes that'sright..save as DV-AVI. On my website click on GREAT LINKS > KNOWLEDGE
BASES > VIDEO HELP You will find all the converters you will ever need.....but

You use a DVD authoring package...one may have come with your DVD burner. If
not you will not do much better than NERO 6 Relaoded. Apart from taking care of
all types of disc burning it has a very good compiler and menu creation system
which you can tailor to suit your own needs. Using the program requires no
technical knowledge...and that's what a computer program should be about...it
works for you, not the other way around.

The limit is set by the physical conditions...I have recently been working with
344 and 4 hour DV-AVI files...they are MONSTROUS. I now use a Dual Layer burner
which means I can get quite acceptable quality at 4hours per disk or "The Best"
at 2 hours per disk...the older and more common single layer DVD disks are half
that.
