I'd like to setup a Win98 client I have to boot to RDP
like a thinclient would, but with the option to be able to
choose between booting from the disk or booting directly
to RDP. I dont just want to add RDP to the startup menu
upon booting up, id liek to accomplish this by doing
diskless or at least disk-independant.
We have 12 thinclients on site running off a 2 2000
Terminal Servers with 4 licences to free for use. Id like
to utilize those licenses without having to purchase more
thinclients.
Can anyone help me?

I am thinking of using the Argon Technologies boot-PROMs
and thier Client Management Server. Has anyone had luck
with this system?

You could just Windows 98 to automatically startup the RDP
client once the user logs on, or better yet, logon
automatically, then then startup the RDP client. You
could force the system to shut itself down after the user
closes the RDP client.

You can use my product, DOSRDP XP to do that and setup a remote boot that
will boot all PXE enabled machines right into the TS session.
By far the easiest way to do it.
