Firstly the motherboards I have bought dont come with the little jumper setting
devices (small plastic covered jumpers!) Will I have to get these seperate to
set up all the jumper settings.
Also with Thermal Compund do you apply it to all of surface of the heat sink
where it will be over the CPU or just the bit that the templates show you to
cover. (This is for we socket A, AMD Processor)
Also I want to transfer the hard drive contents on one of my old hard drives to
a new one and then format the old one for use in an older machine. If I do it
via a simply copying info from one to the other it wont copy certain windows
files and so wont be a perfect copy over. How can I do this without spending
loads on certain pieces of software that do it out there.
Lastly do I need a case fan. As long as my CPU and my PSU are directly cooled I
dont really need one for the case do I? I ask because the RAM I have purchased
comes with a heatsink...but I dont see the point in that when there isnt a case
fan. Thoughts and opinions please, remember its a 512 DDR 3200PC RAM, AMD 2600,
160GB HD, simple 16MB Graphics Card CD ROM Drive and thats it!!! And the other
will be the same except 2500, 8 MB Graphics Card and two hard drives 13GB and
1GB!!!!!!!
Many Thanks
