Hello,
I'm not all too familiar with Access, so I was hoping someone could give me
a quick answer: I have a client who has an access 2000 db. They would like
to have all of the data stripped out of it so that all that remains is the
table structure. Because the information is sensitive, I need to make sure
that all data is gone, and that only the db's "skeleton" or structure
remains. Any tools or utilities to accomplish this? Thanks for your help.

Roger

Forget it... You have no garuntees with MS products. Even Word saves
deleted things inside it, personal info etc. We have no way of knowing
what MS wants to store inside these proprietry files.

I mean, even going through it and looking for strings doesnt mean
anything, who knows what various encoding methods are used in there.

If its just the table structure you want, I would simply save the
database schema, i.e. the SQL statememts required to recreate the
database. In the Access world however, this probably corresponds to a
macro with the menu items and key strokes used to create the database
YUK! heh.

Actually I have to do the same, I just open the tables and select all
records and delete. Of course the data is still in there

If your situation really involves "sensitive" data, what the hell are
microsoft products doing anywhere near this project?
