If you have a suggestion please post it!
I want to connect two networks so I can browse both networks from any
pc in either of the two networks!
I have 2 networks, each with a firewall/router with an adsl connection
with fixed IP's. Both firewalls are XP-pro based and both VPN ports
have been opened in the (in XP) built in firewall.
Still I can only make a connection to the firewall thus the actual vpn
server, but I can not access any ressorses behind the vpn
server/firewall! (I can access files on the VPN server/firewall)
There are no IP conflicts and both networks use the same subnet and
workgroup-name, but of course different ip-adresses (also for the pc´s
in the networks!).
Initially I used the wizards, but as that did not work I have tried
all kind of settings, primarily for the gateways!
I guess it is all about routing, but how do I actually access the
ressources on the remote network? Do I have to specify a special path
in the browser or perhaps a specific gateway????? I am lost !
