I have an XP pro system and a win98 computer connected to
a linksys router/switch. I used the network setup wizard
to share the internet connection, which works pretty
fair. I would like to share CD-RW on the XP system with
the 98 system. Any suggestins

You can share the CD-RW drive for reading over the network, but not
for writing. A network connection is too slow for writing.

To share it for reading, open My Computer, right click the drive, and
click Sharing.

To write win98 files to the CD-RW drive, copy them to the XP computer
first.
