New years resolutions?

what was it again?

oh yer

"never to make any more resolutions."

sound familiar to people on pcr?
:)

Save em

Well heres a great one, in todays throwaway society what i did last year was staple all reciepts into the instruction booklet of all electrical and breakable items and filed them....you will be surprised by how much money this can save you through returning faulty items...and how many of us actually do save reciepts ? :thumb:

Recycling more things is my resolution, and making sure I get down to the gym as often as I should!

Post more on PCR :o
Recycle more
Eat fewer bad things
Sort out my 'messy corner' (dumping grounds for everything)

:D

Hope your both drinking in time for the county show;)

I made a resulution last year to hit the gym as hardcore as possible

last day of this year I went into their last time for the year and asked the women behind the desk how many times i had been there in 365 days

the computer came out with 150 times
pretty consistent all year through
very happy with that

i did stick to my resolution
its all about a routine get into one and you can never go wrong

150 times is very good! :D Probably around 2-3 times a week here, aiming for 3 though.

150 day's in a year is good:thumb:

I currently try for every other day if i can, i want to get back into a daily schedule of either gym or walking.

Errr never been the Gym  but while the wife has the car i do cycle 3 miles a day ...does that count ;)

thanks guys it was pretty tough at times
but I got into a really good routine get up early have my breakkie and straight in there.
I am on my training break right now and I am feeling rather frustrated!!! :(

I tried to go 4 times a week because I beleive this is an ideal amount of times to go in 7 days.
but sometimes I ended up going 3 times not ideal.

Would I reccomend going every day?

well depends on your goals but probably not
if you want to build some muscle, you build it in the kitchen and on those REST days
that rest is so important overtraining can cause injuries and prevent progress for sure.

Another one of my resoultions was to cut out crap foods
I did this very well
this year one of them is to get 5 a day in ie fruits and vegs
so fasr last 4 weeks ive done this every day
along with my 2 litres of ice cold water at least, although I have been doing this for 14 months now and really enjoying the rewards

10 years ago i used to go every day:eek:
I used to train through any injury, BIG mistake.
But if you pace it and dont train when injured or you dont feel like it, thats fine.
It's all about what you want out of it:thumb:
