i was wondering if there are any bunk xp home disks going
around...i recently bought one last wqeek, and my
computer was restarting every day by itself, sometimes
multiple times aday, so after searching i found out how
to reactivate the blue screen of death...and i get a new
error ever time.
i am also using norton systewm works, and everyday i scan
using speed disk, and it comes up with registry problems,
of course i tell it to fix them, but same cycle, over and
over.
also, the hard drive i am using is a 30 gig quantum
fireball, i think, 3 years old., i did put the system
togethor on my own, but, that was recently, and i have a
new motherboard, and cpu, and ram, but, i've checked, and
everything seems to come up as compatible....i think i'm
at a dead end, i think its the xp home edition thats
messed up, or my hdd needs replacement, a penny for your
thoughts?thank you.
