New Wondows won't close

When I start a session of IE6 and when new some windows
open whteher it's ads or new links, certain windows won't
close and I have to close them from task manager. I also
can't access my on-line banking - when I attempt to login,
my tab key doesn't work and then I knwo I'm going to get a
blank screen with a couple of rectangular boxes and the
text "logging in" but it goes no where. I also get script
errors. I am running Windows 2000 with IE6 SP1 installed.
 
This worked like a charm! I downloaded SpyBot but it kept
getting hung up on a C2.lop file. I then proceeded to
download Ad Ware and that worked perfectly. I also did
some of the other things mentioned such as the Hosts
file. Thanks so much!
