New WLM sucks

Old settings from WM? It did for me. Imported everything,
including Contacts.

Did you have WLMD set up on your system as well as WM?

The reason I ask is because of my newsgroups not being automatically
set up. I have newsgroups set up in WM but not in WLMD and have
multiple email accounts set up in WMLD but not in WM.

Since WLM automatically set up multiple Id's but not newsgroups
it suggests that the automatic set up preferentially imports its
settings
from WLMD rather than WM if it has the choice.

I did not have WLMD. Sounds like WLM ignores WM on any PC where
it has WLMD to import from.

Yep... one for the "database" since I doubt I'm not alone in trying
WLMD and not getting around to snuffing it when returning to WM.

I've been using WLM for the last 48 hours and I'm getting used to
it and increasing unlikely to go back to WM.

Likewise. There are a few things in WLM's GUI interface that I
don't like, and it will take some getting used to, but at least it
seems to be stable and dependable, which I can't say about WM.
