I'm concerned with the various users in this newsgroup bashing Microsoft and
it's programs. I've been a Microsoft user since MSDOS ~4.0 If I really
didn't like Microsoft products then I would have join the rest of my
associates that use MACs. If there is a better way to run a +500MHz
computer with no problem, no secuirity issues and with no hang-ups or flaws,
then I would love to see someone try it. I haven't heard of anybody doing
that. Even with Linux.

I don't know why you're concerned. It's a free newsgroup and they're
entitled to their opinions. Of course a lot of them manage at the same time
to demonstrate their stupidity. Also, some are just trolls looking to start
an argument.

They don't have the expertise to help, but their infantile mentality
screams "look at me, look at me" so they have to say something. If
Forte Agent were the number one newsreader client (by number of users)
in the world, and if there was different newsreader used by some users
(just different, not necessarily better), then there would be those that
need to spew "Look at me, I'm smart, ain't I smart, you think I'm smart,
right? Look at me, look at me." Only second to such nuisance posts are
those that are "me, too" posts that add nothing to the discussion and
provide no help. Yep, more "look at me, look at me" posts.

I remember back when the ego wars raged over which word processor was
better, Word or WordPerfect, and in very rare cases had anyone actually
become expert enough in both products to give a qualified analysis of
which was better - which, of course, was which of them was better for
them or which was better for the targeted audience addressed by the
spokesman purporting their expertise.

If you're such a happy MS user, why are you concerned with what others
think?
If there is a better
way to run a +500MHz

Now, what on earth do speed have to do with this?

Are you implying that MS OS's has no such problems?
I haven't heard of anybody doing that. Even with Linux.
