New windows opening when you click a link

Sorry I am an idiot. I say that at the outset.

When I click a link the new window opens minimized and I
want it to open as a full page. How do I do this.

Please help.

Open one new window. Use your mouse to stretch it out to the size you
want (don't click or use any other method). Close the window by
holding down the control key while you click the x in the upper
righthand corner. With luck, it will open to that size henceforward.
