New Window Position Problem

I have a strange problem with openning new IE windows. The new windows I open
not only have horizontal offset, but also a vertial offset in positions. The
IE windows are as as tall as my desktop resolution and this shouldn't happen.

Let's Say if the upper left corner of my screen is position x0, y0. Lower
right corner is x1280, y1024

The 1st window I open is at x0, y0

2nd window will appear at x10, y10

3rd window will appear at x20, y0

4th ................................ x30, y10

see the pattern? y should not change and stay at 0.

Anyone know the cause of this and have a solution? Thanks!

Did you experiment with Cascade Windows or close a window
while the Taskbar was locked up? <w>

Try Tile Horizontally instead? E.g. Ctrl-click on two affected windows
icons in the Taskbar then Ctrl-right-click on one and choose that.
Alternatively minimize all windows, restore one problem window,
then right-click anywhere in the Taskbar and choose either Tile command.
(Tiling one window maximizes it.) Then manually resize the horizontal size
to a more pleasing width.

Good luck
