NEW WIN XP Version 2

I just downloaded the upgrade patch from Microsoft.
Im having a huge problem.
Everything seems to work fine but everytime i install a
program.
It could be ZONE ALARM..OR MSN or anything my pc wont
start.
I have to go into SAFE MODE and de install.
Then Windows will start.
ALSO The FIREWALL built into this new version wont switch
on.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening

Do you mean Service Pack 2?
If so and you are a Beta tester, take this question to the beta
newsgroup.
Otherwise your best option may be to uninstall from Add/Remove
Programs as Beta are totally unsupported.
 
Can YOU point me in the direction of the BETA NEWS GROUPS
for WIN XP SERVICE PACK 2

You receive the location and appropriate credentials to sign into the secure
newsgroups of the Technical Beta Program for Windows XP SP2 if you
are on the Technical Beta Program.
If you received your beta as part of MSDN or TechNet Plus - there are no
groups as this is not a supported Beta for you.

As Mike said, if you are not a Beta tester there is no support for
you.
The Beta news groups are not accessible to the general public.

The fact that it is Beta as well as non availability of support are
two of the reasons Beta should not be installed unless the person is
willing and able to take on all Windows support.

If this was not acquired directly from Microsoft , that is an even
bigger reason to just uninstall it.
